Live Painting Artist
An original painting of your wedding or event created on canvas at the venue, capturing a chosen moment as it unfolds.
A blank wall is the largest canvas in any room. Raju Kumawat designs and hand-paints murals for cafes, homes, offices and schools in Gariaband, and paints live backdrops at events, with every composition planned around the surface, the light and the people who will see it.

A mural is not a large print stuck to a wall. It is designed for one particular surface: its height, the doorway beside it, the window that throws afternoon light across it, and the distance from which people will see it. That is what makes hand-painted wall art feel like it belongs to a space rather than being added to it.
Every project starts with a conversation and a site visit. We look at the wall's condition, measure the area, check how the room is used and talk through what you want the artwork to say. From there, the artist prepares a colour concept on a photo of your actual wall, so you can see the scale and palette before a single brushstroke goes up.
Material choice depends on where the wall is. Interior murals are usually painted in quality water-based acrylic emulsions and acrylic artist colours, while exterior walls need weather-resistant paints and a protective finish. Walls with damp, peeling plaster or cracks need repair first, because no artwork lasts on a failing surface.
Timelines are honest and project-specific. A simple pattern on a small feature wall may take a couple of days, while a detailed, large-scale illustration can take a week or more. Throughout, we protect floors and furniture and leave the space clean at the end of each working day.
A signature wall that reflects your menu, neighbourhood or brand personality and gives customers a reason to take photos. We plan around seating, lighting and opening hours, and can work early mornings or after closing so your service is not disrupted.
Living room statement walls, children's bedroom scenes, pooja room motifs and staircase artwork. We work with your existing furniture and colours, and keep the design calm enough to live with every day rather than overwhelming the room or competing with your decor.
Murals that express your company's story, values or product world, painted in reception areas, cafeterias and meeting zones. Logos and lettering follow your brand guidelines and are approved in a mock-up before work starts on site, so there are no surprises.
Educational and playful murals for classrooms, libraries, corridors and play schools: alphabets, maps, nature scenes and storybook worlds. We choose washable, low-odour paints and schedule painting around school hours and holidays so children are not disturbed and classrooms are ready on time.
The artist paints a mural on a large canvas, board or approved wall during your event, so guests watch the artwork develop over a few hours. It suits launches, festivals, exhibitions and weddings, and the finished panel can be kept afterwards.
Inspired by havelis and palaces: jharokhas, elephants, peacocks, floral borders and mandana-style patterns. A natural fit for boutique hotels, homestays, restaurants and homes that want a warm, regional character rooted in Rajasthan. Motifs can be kept bold and colourful or soft and faded, depending on the setting.
For Gariaband, Chhattisgarh, we travel from Jaipur with all materials, so your event gets the same artist and quality as at home. Travel and stay are planned with you in advance and itemised in the quote. Destination weddings with several functions are especially worth combining into one trip.
Send photos of the wall, approximate dimensions, the location and any references you like. Tell us how the space is used and when you would like the work completed.
We check the surface, measure the area and discuss the brief, then share a colour concept mock-up on a photo of your wall along with a project quote and timeline.
After you approve the design, we confirm who handles repairs and priming, book access equipment if needed and agree on working hours and site protection.
The artist sketches the layout on the wall, paints in stages and reviews the work with you before final touches, a protective coat where needed, and care advice.
Led by Raju Kumawat, every booking is handled by the artist directly — from the first WhatsApp message to the final piece your guests take home.
Start on WhatsAppYou see the concept mock-up on a photograph of your own space before painting begins, so scale, colours and placement are agreed, not guessed. Revisions are made at this stage, when changes are quick and inexpensive.
If the wall has damp or weak plaster, we tell you before taking the project. Proper preparation is what decides how long a mural lasts, and we would rather say so early than repaint it later.
Floors and furniture are covered, paint is stored safely and the area is tidied each day. For cafes and offices, we plan working hours around your business and your customers.
The same artist who paints commissioned walls also paints live at events, which means a mural can be part of a launch or celebration, not just a renovation. It also means the studio understands working to a fixed event deadline.
The live portrait setup was one of the most loved attractions at our wedding. Guests were genuinely impressed and the artwork was beautiful.
We booked caricature art for our event and it was a huge hit. It kept guests engaged and everyone loved taking their sketch home.
The magic portrait reveal created a real wow moment. It was unique, artistic and one of the most memorable parts of the function.
Mural pricing depends mainly on the area, the level of detail, the number of colours, the wall condition and the working height. Lettering-heavy or photo-realistic artwork takes longer than patterns or stylised illustrations. Scaffolding, exterior paints, protective coatings and travel can add to the scope. After a site visit or detailed photos, we share a project-based quote that lists what is included.
As a rough guide, a simple design on a 50 to 100 sq ft wall may take two to three days, while a detailed wall of 200 sq ft or more can take a week or longer. Drying time between layers, access and site working hours also matter. We share a realistic timeline with the quote and keep you updated if weather or site access affects progress.
Yes. The surface should be dry, clean, reasonably smooth and primed. Cracks, damp patches, efflorescence and peeling paint must be repaired first, otherwise the artwork can fail. We assess this during the site visit and agree who handles the preparation, whether your contractor or our team. Skipping this step is the most common reason murals crack or fade early.
We do take on exterior murals, using weather-resistant paints and a protective finish suited to sun and rain exposure. Outdoor work depends on the weather, so we avoid heavy monsoon days and plan around harsh afternoon sun in summer. Access equipment and permissions for street-facing walls are confirmed before starting, along with any society or building approvals.
Yes. For events, we usually paint on a prepared canvas or board rather than a venue wall, unless the venue approves direct painting. A live mural typically runs over three to five hours, letting guests watch the work evolve. Afterwards, the finished panel can be kept, displayed at your office or home, or gifted to the couple or guest of honour.
Yes. Our studio is in Jaipur, and we take mural projects across Rajasthan and in other cities. For outstation projects, travel and accommodation for the painting days are included in the quote, and we plan the schedule carefully to keep the time on site efficient. Remote projects still begin with detailed photos and a video call before any site visit is planned.
Absolutely. Logos, taglines, names and quotes can be painted by hand to match your brand fonts and colours. We include them in the concept mock-up for approval, and we ask for vector files or brand guidelines so the lettering is accurate before it goes on the wall. Hand-painted lettering takes careful time, so it is factored into the schedule.
